Picto Online offers a range of finishes to enhance and protect your prints. In addition to framing and mounting, a photo under plexiglass protects your print with a sheet of acrylic glass whilst giving it a contemporary touch, with an effect similar to Diasec. Depending on the printing method and the desired finish, several plexiglass mounting options are available to you.
For lovers of traditional prints, the Plexiglass-mounted film print protects your prints using acrylic glass sheets, fully customised to your requirements. For the front, you can choose a standard 3 mm or 4 mm acrylic glass sheet; for the back, a 2 mm Dibond, or 3 mm, 4 mm or 10 mm acrylic glass. The whole assembly is mounted on a recessed aluminium frame, made entirely to measure. Anti-reflective glass is recommended for very bright spaces. This high-end service brings contrast, brilliance and depth to your images.
If you prefer pigment inkjet printing, opt for the Pigment print mounted under plexiglass , which showcases your images in high definition. The print is produced on a special ultra-glossy paper, to enhance the colours and contrasts. As with the silver halide plexiglass print, you are free to choose your own combination: front panel in 3 mm, 3 mm anti-reflective or 4 mm Plexiglass; back panel in 2 mm Dibond, 3 mm, 4 mm or 3 mm black Plexiglass.
To get as close as possible to the ‘Diasec’ effect, UV printing under Plexiglass is the ideal solution. Thanks to our high-definition large-format printers, your images are printed directly onto a sheet of Plexiglass. Light- and water-resistant, this finish offers vibrant colours, extreme sharpness and great depth of rendering.
To give your print even more depth, the flush-mounted frame under Plexiglass sandwiches your image between a 2 mm acrylic glass panel at the front and a 1 mm aluminium plate at the back, all set within a custom-made flush-mounted aluminium frame. The result is an original photographic piece, ready to hang on the wall.
To transform your prints into true works of art, the Plexi Block adds depth and contrast to your images. Created from a digital silver print, it combines a 10 mm Plexiglass acrylic panel on the front and a 4 mm or 10 mm glass panel on the back. Its thickness gives it a lovely sense of stability: the piece can be placed directly on a piece of furniture or a shelf, without the need for wall mounting.
Finally, to add a modern touch to your Plexiglass prints, the American frame elegantly complements your artwork. Featuring a 3 mm Plexiglass acrylic sheet, it is available in three colours: black, white or wenge. For large formats, it is advisable not to exceed 120 × 200 cm.
