Innovate with direct printing onto flexible media

Bring your original photographic or graphic designs to life with direct printing on flexible media. With a choice of six different media types, your images can be adapted to any situation and any surface thanks to high-definition technology. For your interior design or events, print your visuals in very large formats.

Direct printing on flexible media offers a multitude of uses and display options. Cover all or part of your walls with pre-pasted wallpaper, organise an outdoor exhibition using tarpaulins, or create bespoke decorations for your events with adhesive vinyl: the possibilities are endless. Our prints are produced in our Picto Grand Paris workshops using very large-format printers.

On the Picto Online platform, we offer six types of media, each with its own specific uses and characteristics.

Tarpaulins

For several years now, tarpaulin has been the material of choice for photographers looking to create unique, large-scale outdoor displays. Highly durable, it allows for very large-format printing with specific hanging methods (eyelets, grommets, clip-on bars, etc.) tailored to the exhibition conditions. We offer four types of tarpaulin:

• 450g Frontlit tarpaulin — non-flammable (M1), matt finish, ideal for outdoor or indoor use.
• 650g Opaque Banner — low flammability (M2), fully opaque, particularly suitable for outdoor display.
• 420g anti-curl banner — non-flammable (M1), guaranteed high flatness, ideal for large-format exhibitions or visual communication materials (kakemonos, roll-ups, etc.).
• Diffusing banner 460g — low flammability (M2), intended for backlit use, particularly for shop windows.

Wallpaper

Increasingly used in exhibition design, wallpaper allows you to easily cover sections or entire walls thanks to our pre-pasted backing. Two options are available: a 175g M1-rated non-flammable backing with a satin finish, and a 180g non-woven wallpaper with a matt finish. The final print is produced in multi-strips (131 cm wide), managed directly via the Picto Online platform. It is an ideal solution for permanent or semi-permanent use.

Dos Bleu

For a more temporary and affordable solution than wallpaper, Dos Bleu allows for quick and highly opaque coverage, thanks to its opacity, on both interior and exterior walls.

Satin Paper

Satin paper, meanwhile, is an ideal, high-quality alternative for your large-format photographic printing projects, posters, event graphics and other one-off large-format communications.

Adhesive Vinyl

Monomeric adhesive vinyl allows walls or façades to be covered without the need for glue, with a wide range of formats available. Primarily used for communication and advertising, it is also suitable for exhibition design requiring easy installation of artwork. Please note: the installation of this sticker, particularly in large formats, requires special care and genuine expertise.

Large-Format Canvas

Give your artwork a painterly dimension with large-format canvas. Your creations are printed on a very large-format polyester ‘canvas’ and then mounted on authentic, made-to-measure wooden artist’s frames.

Translucent Backlit Film

Intended primarily for backlighting, with suitable lighting behind the material, the flexible opalescent Backlit Translucent film allows for the display of luminous photographic images or visual communications in a retail outlet. This material is equivalent to Fuji’s FujiTrans or Kodak’s former DuraTrans.

Transparent Polyester Film

Transparent Polyester film is suitable for creating original, fully transparent photographic prints. Its use in photographic exhibitions or visual communications requires a diffusing backing and backlighting. It is completely transparent and is equivalent to Fuji’s FujiClear or, formerly, Kodak’s DuraClear.

Magnetic

The flexible Magnetic material consists of very thin white PVC with a magnetic backing, allowing it to adhere naturally to any ferrous or metallic surface. Very practical for displaying images in specific locations or for decorating a shop window.
